Texas Instruments Peripheral Expansion System 

TI and Third Party PEB Cards

Texas Instruments 99/4 Peripheral Expansion System was a welcome addition over the old sidecar peripherals. The expansion system could hold eight peripheral expansion cards and a 5.25 full or two half-height floppy drives.

The 99/4 Peripheral Expansion System could hold up to eight cards in the box and a full height or two half-height disk drives. This expansion box is configured for use with a TI-99/4A. Note the long risers.

Slot 1: Flex Cable Interface, Slot 2: 32Kx8 Memory Expansion, Slot 3:P-Code, Slot 4: RS-232 Card, Slot 8: Disk Controller

Texas Instruments Expansion System was a change in the original 99/4 PE Box. A rocker power switch was added and the metal risers on the back of the box were shortened.

This expansion box is configured for use with a TI-99/8. Note the short risers.
